Product Description
The AE Disposable Syringe Production Plant is a comprehensive manufacturing setup designed to produce high-quality disposable syringes for medical use. It integrates advanced automation technologies to streamline the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, precision, and adherence to strict hygiene standards. This plant is ideal for large-scale production, catering to hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and medical supply distributors.
Key Components and Process:
1. Raw Material Handling:
- The plant uses medical-grade polypropylene (PP) as the primary material for the syringe barrels and plungers. The raw plastic is stored in silos or feeding systems and fed into the injection molding machines.
2. Injection Molding Unit:
- Barrel and Plunger Formation: The injection molding machines melt the polypropylene and inject it into molds that form the syringe barrels, plungers, and needle hubs. These components are produced with precise dimensions and smooth finishes to ensure seamless function.
- Precision Molds: High-precision molds ensure that the barrels have accurate volume markings, and the plungers fit perfectly within the barrels for smooth operation.
3. Needle Manufacturing and Attachment:
- The needles are typically made of stainless steel and are manufactured through a separate process involving tube cutting, sharpening, and coating. The plant can also integrate needle attachment machinery, where the needle is fixed into the plastic hub using high-precision assembly equipment.
- The plant may also produce needle-free syringes or syringes with detachable needles using a Luer-lock mechanism.
4. Assembly Line:
- Component Assembly: The assembly line integrates the syringe barrels, plungers, rubber gaskets, and needle hubs. The plunger is inserted into the barrel, and if required, the needle is securely attached to the hub. This process is automated to ensure speed and consistency.
- Leak Testing: The assembled syringes are automatically checked for leaks and defects. The system uses sensors to detect any imperfections in the fit between components, ensuring that each syringe is safe for use.
5. Calibration and Marking:
- The barrels are marked with precise calibrations to indicate fluid measurements. These markings are applied using laser or inkjet printing technology. The plant ensures that all markings are clear, legible, and durable, providing accurate dosage measurements for medical professionals.
